Threats

Please help us by reviewing 3R's policy concerning weapons at school and our policy on making threats with your child.

Children may not make threats of violence against each other. Children need to feel safe and comfortable at school. Children and staff should not be subjected to threats. Children cannot make a threat and then say, "I was kidding." Since children will be held accountable, by policy, for inappropriate remarks, they need to learn what is unacceptable communication.

Parents, please help teach these rules to your children at home. Our policy requires that children be suspended if they violate the rules against weapons and threats. We DO NOT want to suspend children from school. Please help us teach the children about these policies. Thank you for your cooperation.
